Half-Assed Homemaker

My house is so cold. I have resisted turning on my heat. I have been hanging out here for most of last week and I have done my best to stay warm. I wrap a fleece blanket around my waist, over flannel pants. Wool hats indoors? Yes! I run java apps in the background to warm up my laptop. I'm afraid my windows are wooden and old and beautiful but are not double pane so running the heat is such a sad venture. I need to get some heavy curtains like they had during the Victorian era to keep warm. I'd look beautiful in one of those.
