Pollos Locales
In an effort to increase the biodiversity of my garden, I've adopted two hatchlings. The ladies are proud Araucanas, a South American breed of chicken known for laying eggs with pastel colored shells. Their newly built coop will provide protection from nocturnal predators. As they get stronger, they'll be able to roam the grounds unattended. For now they'll have supervised installments of scratching around the compost bin, hiding in the weeds and generally amusing their human pets.
